The Role
As Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, delivering and embedding impactful learning initiatives and sales coaching programmes that drive measurable improvements in performance across the business.
Working closely with senior leadership and sales management teams, you will support the ongoing development of colleagues, ensuring capability, consistency and commercial effectiveness remain at the forefront of the organisation’s growth strategy.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and understands how learning and development can directly influence business performance and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver and continuously improve sales-focused learning and development programmes.
- Deliver effective coaching that enhances individual and team performance, conversion and consistency.
- Develop and maintain structured onboarding programmes to accelerate new starter success.
- Partner with sales leadership teams to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development solutions.
- Embed practical coaching frameworks aligned to business objectives.
- Observe performance and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Support and develop managers to become effective coaches within their teams.
- Monitor and report on learning and coaching KPIs, measuring capability uplift and business impact.
- Use data and insight to evaluate programme effectiveness and continuously improve delivery.
- Ensure all learning initiatives are engaging, commercially relevant and results-driven.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and high performance.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development or Coaching professional with a strong understanding of sales environments and a passion for driving performance through people development.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Learning & Development, Sales Enablement or Coaching role within a B2B environment.
- Proven experience improving sales performance, conversion rates or commercial effectiveness.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of coaching methodologies and their practical application.
- Ability to use performance data and insights to shape learning strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High levels of resilience, accountability and professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Working Pattern
This is a full-time, office-based position located in the North East.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
