Interim Employee Relations Specialist (6-Month Contract)
A well-established services business is looking for an experienced Interim ER Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly supportive team in a business known for its great culture and collaborative environment.
This role focuses on managing a broad range of employee relations cases and can be offered on either a full-time or 4-day week basis. Please note, this is a fully onsite position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex and long-term employee relations cases, including prolonged absence and Right to Work checks
- Deliver a professional, proactive HR advisory service to managers at all levels via phone and written communication
- Provide expert guidance on a wide range of ER matters, including:
- Serious conduct issues
- Capability concerns
- Employee complaints and investigations
- Suspensions and disciplinary processes
- Review investigation reports and draft complex correspondence
- Partner closely with managers, offering hands-on support through the full case management lifecycle
- Balance commercial priorities with legal compliance to achieve the best outcomes for both the business and employees
About You:
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations advisory role
- Strong track record of managing a varied and complex caseload
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Ideally experienced in supporting multiple stakeholders or client groups
