HR Assistant – Temporary Contract

We are currently working with a public sector organization to support them with some temporary recruitment needs within their Workforce and Development team.

They are looking for an HR Assistant/Administrator for an initial period of 4-6 months. The role would encompass some of the duties below and would be an exciting and varied role.

  • To provide administrative support to the WD team to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided.
  • To provide a high level of customer service to employees and managers, members of the public and external organisations via telephone, letter, email and face to face to ensure an ongoing provision of a high-quality service.
  • To be responsible for monitoring the WD Support and Learning Hub (Learning Management System) inbox and support and assist with all WD and Learning Hub queries.
  • To be responsible for overseeing the raising of purchase orders, processing of invoices for payment, administration of goods received, raising of debtor invoices and maintenance of manual and electronic records to ensure a high level of accuracy is maintained and data and reports are produced as and when required which comply with financial requirements.
  • To support and assist with maintaining the Digital Apprenticeship Account to ensure all monies are drawn down accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To monitor the apprenticeship inbox and support and assist with the administration of apprenticeship applications and queries.
  • To support and assist with maintaining the apprenticeship monitoring documents/systems to ensure that relevant data can be provided when required.
  • To support and assist in the administration of meetings with internal members of staff and with external partners and stakeholders.
  • To update and maintain manual and computerised information systems to ensure data used is accurate and up-to- date and reports are produced as and when required.
  • Assist with the organisation and co-ordination of learning and development and apprenticeship activities.
  • To assist with the monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of attendance/non-attendance and evaluate the impact of learning and development activities.
