The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of day-to-day HR operations across the business. As part of a collaborative People team, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle while helping to deliver an excellent employee experience.
With a workforce of approximately 250 employees and continued growth planned, this is a role where your contribution will be visible, valued and offer genuine opportunities for development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems remain up to date.
- Prepare contracts, letters, reports and HR documentation.
- Respond to employee and manager queries, escalating where appropriate.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
- Support recruitment administration, including offer documentation and pre-employment checks.
- Produce HR reports and assist with people data analysis.
- Prepare monthly payroll information for the external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist with learning and development activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and GDPR requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance HR processes and service delivery.
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, systems and processes and takes pride in delivering an exceptional level of administrative support.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR, People or administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience using HR systems or similar business software.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- A proactive, adaptable and customer-focused approach.
- Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Experience of payroll administration.
- Experience using HiBob.
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards), or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to international teams.
