HR Administrator

Location: Trafford Park/ Worsley  – fulltime onsite

About the Opportunity

Our client is a successful and rapidly growing business looking to appoint an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join their people team.

Supporting the HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of HR administration across the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail and is looking to develop a career in Human Resources.

The Role

As HR Administrator, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support across a broad range of HR activities, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately and HR processes are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining employee records and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
  • Managing new starter, onboarding and leaver administration.
  • Processing employee changes, including promotions, salary amendments and contractual updates.
  • Completing right to work and pre-employment checks.
  • Supporting payroll administration.
  • Responding to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Producing HR reports and maintaining training records.
  • Managing the HR inbox and ensuring queries are responded to promptly.
  • Supporting the wider HR team with a variety of administrative projects and ad hoc duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys providing excellent administrative support.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience (HR experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A professional, discreet and confidential approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • The ability to prioritise workload in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
